Join the angels in song
This song has also been used as a follow up piece (after Christmas) that describes the whole life of Jesus for children. Verses about his adulthood might be. There was a God-man Jesus. Oh my Lord. way down in Galilee... He went fishing with his friends... He taught us how to love... He made the sick get better... Verses about the passion occur in Jerusalem. Jesus died up on a cross. Oh my Lord. But he came  back on Easter... He said he'd never leave us...

For young children, put a large drawing of the manger on the floor or wall to represent Bethlehem, a second drawing of a hammer and nails for Gallilee, and a third drawing of a Cross for Jerusalem. Help them MOVE to the next picture as they sing the verses.
I did not get to retape my example after adding these drawings.
